“A gas station clerk scared off two would-be robbers early Wednesday morning when he pulled a gun of his own, police said. Police said two men walked into the Shell gas station on Bannister Road near Interstate 435 about 6 a.m., pulled guns on the clerk and demanded money. Authorities said the clerk turned the tables on the robbers and pulled his own gun. The clerk then chased the two out of the store and fired at them as they drove away.” (09/01/10)
