“Although election news overshadowed reports of attacks, at least seven Iraqis were killed and 19 more were wounded across the country. … In Mosul, a bomb explosion killed a 12-year-old child and wounded five other people. Three soldiers were injured in a separate blast. Three children were wounded in a blast in Tal Keef, a mostly Christian town north of Mosul. Five bodies were buried in a mass grave after authorities in Kirkuk failed to identify the victims.
