“The Federal Reserve yesterday sharply cut its outlook for the US economy for next year, highlighting the potential for recession over the next year while leaving the door open for more rate cuts. The latest forecast left a wide range of possibilities, suggesting the economy could grow as much as 1.1 per cent or contract by 0.2pc next year. That compared with Fed forecasts published in July for gross domestic product (GDP) growth in a range of two to 2.8pc for next year.” (11/20/08) Link: http://tinyurl.com/6qry87 Filed under: RRND News | Report Bad Link Bookmark this post in Furl or Del.icio.us | |
