“A beer that can help prolong life and prevent illness has been created — the only problem is it tastes awful. BioBeer has been genetically-modified by students in Texas. It is brewed using a yeast called resveratrol. The same yeast is used in red wine and is thought to help prevent heart disease, diabetes, cancer and Alzheimer’s.
