“Oakland police officials said today that they have retrained officers on how to apply for search warrants after a number of officers were found to have committed ‘procedural errors’ in drug cases, potentially jeopardizing prosecutions of some suspects. An undisclosed number of officers have been reassigned pending the results of an internal investigation that began a month ago, Assistant Police Chief Howard Jordan said.
