“There is a big difference between being Conservative and being Patriotic. Elephants and Donkeys can agree on many, many questions on how we run our country, come to the same conclusions and get a lot of business done. And a lot of Conservatives can drop the ball and refuse to see the citizen authority — lethal force connection they should be standing up for. This is one of the biggest complaints of constituents: for all the talk of Independence, the Conservatives won’t really take a position on how citizen authority in this country is backed by lethal force in the hands of the citizen first and always.
