“A woman shot and killed her husband at their home outside of El Dorado, and the Union County sheriff says the slaying was in self-defense. Sheriff Ken Jones said the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, when deputies found 47 year-old Roger Gates dead inside the home. Jones says 37 year-old Kimberly Gates told him that her husband had attacked her and that she was afraid for her life and her baby’s.
