“A Shreveport man remains in critical condition at LSU Hospital in Shreveport this morning after being shot by his estrange wife over the weekend. Gary Young, 34, was shot at least once in the chest on Saturday after he went to the residence in the 5900 block of Candlewood Circle and attempted to drag the woman out of the bed, according to police. The couple began arguing and Frances Young, 33, pulled out a handgun and shot her husband. The woman was questioned by police and released.
