“Police said a homeowner shot and killed a burglary suspect inside a Northeast Side home this morning. The 18-year-old man male suspect was shot about 2:30 a.m. in the 5800 block of Midcrown after a male homeowner noticed the youth inside the man’s house. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
